Whiteheads are the body’s way of reacting to toxins within the body. It is the skins way of telling you that there needs to be an internal cleansing of your system due to lack of exercise, bad nutrition, poor circulation or a hormone imbalance. This problem is not only suffered by teenagers but by adults and children as young as 9 or 10. So it’s worth knowing what it signifies and how to deal with the problem as best you can.

An over indulgence in anything can trigger a whitehead breakout. Too much oily foods, too much alcohol and stress all have their effect on your skin. Whiteheads can occur on any area of the body including neck, back chest but most regularly the face. They also appear in the soft skin tissue under the eye area in this case it is indication poor circulation in that area where the skin can’t rid itself
of the toxins in the blood so it raises to the surface. Doing simple exercises and massaging in the area with circular motions will help improve this problem as well as investing in a good hydrating eye cream that will boost circulation.

For other areas on the face or body that are suffering this attack it is prudent to improve over all health. Nutrition needs to be improved dramatically cutting out junk food and eating plenty of oil fish and fruit and vegetables not forgetting to well hydrate with lots of water and no fizzy drinks. Then we need to improve general circulation and blood flow by getting outdoors for some fresh air and exercise. Looking after the outside by keeping the surface of the skin clean and bacteria free and using an astringent afterwards to close pores is essential. Also keep creamy moisturizers away form this area using gels or oil free lotions instead to keep the skin hydrated.
