Isotretinoin and Coenzyme A will help in cases of severe acne in patients

Isotretinoin is the new wonder drug in the treatment of severe acne the results of using this drug are amazing. It works differently from other treatments as they usually treat the secretion of oil on the skin after it has been produced where as Isotretinoin addresses the over production of oil before it happens following the old aged saying "prevention is better than cure".

It literal prevents the oil gland from over production of oil which in turn causes acne. Acne is fundamentally caused when the sebaceous glands over produce oil on the skin, this oil is normally secreted through the pores without disruption but if the pores are blocked in any way the oil gets trapped causing blackheads and bacteria enters the pore causing infection and filling the pore with puss causing acne and pimples. If the oil is stopped at the source then the pimples never form in the first place this is the magic behind the treatment of Isotretinon.

Although very successful in its treatment this medication is not without side effects that are trivial from dry hair and skin to severe problems such as miscarriage or birth defects. It is imperative that users of this medication are not pregnant or trying to become pregnant during the duration of the medication.

The initial problem of over producing sebaceous glands is largely down to genetics it is in learning to control this problem lye’s the key to finding the most effective solution. There are a range f products on the market that are effective in tackling the over production of the sebaceous glands and the root cause of this problem which is largely down to the fatty acid deposits in the blood stream that are not being broken down effectively therefore being released as sebum through the skin.

The metabolism of fatty acids in the bloodstream is down to coenzyme A in the body which is responsible for the breakdown of these in the blood. This Coenzyme A is also responsible for the production of the body’s sex hormones; this takes precedence over fatty acid metabolism so when there is a deficiency of this coenzyme in the body it results in the fatty acid deposits not being metabolized correctly and being secreted through the pores causing acne and blackheads on the skin.

In order for the body to produce enough Coenzyme A it needs adenosine triphosphate, cysteine, and d-Calcium Pantothenate two of these are naturally produced by the body but is receive d-Calcium Pantothenate by the body through food. Eating a diet high in is not s d-Calcium Pantothenate sufficient enough for severe acne suffers they need an extra high dose for a period of about three months to kick start the body into producing the Coenzyme in correct quantities again. There are oral remedies available that provide the body with the above ingredients to create coenzyme A and sufficient supplements that allow the body to adequately absorb these nutrients to use them effectively.

Remember when using any of the above mentioned methods of treatment it must be done so under the strict supervision of doctors as these treatments are severe and only used as a last resort in the treatment of severe acne. Never purchases anything from the internet without asking your family doctor or dermatologist advice before hand. At worse it can seriously damage your liver and your unborn child and at best it can make the problem worse causing further irritation or inflammation of the skin making the area look and feel worse them before, so proceed with caution always.
